Bringing out the Lampstand

Updated: Mar 11, 2021

Now no one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light. Luke 8;16 ESV

The Lord gave me His word to not keep His message hidden, but to bring it out and put it on a stand for all to see the light. This was done with a great deal of thought because there are different levels of understanding, but the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5 ESV Without light there is complete darkness. Living in the light of God's word and illuminating it for all to see with no pressure, but freedom from the knowledge of growing in God's heart and being led by the Spirit of what matters most.

It was a transformation that took place in my heart. I do not need to be perfect because God meets us through the depth of His great love and makes us whole. We are all parts of One broken body mended together and made only complete in Him. God doesn't want our perfection, but our imperfections to fill us with His everlasting love and security. I have learned to reveal my imperfections by being honest and real. Our imperfections is a beautiful example of His love to shine through all the cracks.

Have courage in Him to be yourself by being honest and vulnerable. God will reveal a greater love in a dark world then we could possible imagine. He will shine forth hope and guide you to a safe place. God's immeasurable love pouring into you. Take time to meditate on the depth of His love at the cross that says, "I love you."
